The Sardaunan Gombe, Jamil Isyaku Gwamna, has congratulated Muslim faithful in Gombe State and beyond on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.
In a goodwill message marking the Eid-el-Fitr celebration signed by his Media Aide, Ibrahim Sani Shawai, Gwamna described the holy month as a period of deep reflection, spiritual renewal, and moral discipline. He urged Muslims to sustain the lessons learned during Ramadan in their daily lives.
“I thank Allah that we are all able to witness this year’s celebration, and I encourage the faithful to apply the lessons of Ramadan in becoming better individuals while remaining obedient to the will of Allah,” he said.
The traditional title holder also called on Muslims to intensify prayers for peace, unity, and an end to security challenges facing the country, expressing optimism that Nigeria would emerge stronger. 🇳🇬
Gwamna further extended Sallah greetings to the Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, the Abubakar Shehu Abubakar III, other traditional rulers, and the people of the state.
He advised youths to shun violence and celebrate the festival peacefully and responsibly.
