Gombe State University ALUMNI Commissions Project at the Institute

The importance of unionism and cooperation among students has been stressed in view of achieving better education for all.

This was made clear Tuesday by the Vice Chancellor of Gombe state university GSU Prof. Usman Aliyu El-Nafaty when he commissioned a project executed by the university’s alumni association within the university premises.

He commended the association for embarking various projects on the campus that is impacting positively on staff and students of the university.

President of the association Dr. Jibir explained that every alumni is formed on the basis of supporting the alma mata which in this case; considering the just executed project; the Gombe state university alma mata has delivered.

Dr. Adamu Jirbir preached the Gombe State University students to work hard and brace up to override the challenges awaiting them in the outside world as every graduate in the 21st c.e.

Speaking at the event the Public Relations Officer of Gombe University Alumni association Mr. Aminu J.B. Kwami boasted that the interlocking of the entrance of the main Library is of many benefits of the association.

He mentioned the construction of 6 shops within the university and rented out to the public and staff of the varsity as one of the projects the association is most proud of.
