Gov Bala Hails Performance Of Members Of State Executive Council In Actualizing New Bauchi Agenda

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi State has appreciated members of the State Executive Council on their efforts to assist him to actualize his new Bauchi agenda which is for the rapid development of the state.

This is contained in a statement by Muktar Gidado, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Governor.

The statement said the governor made the commendation on Wednesday during the state executive council meeting held at the Council Chambers, Government House, Bauchi.

Governor Bala Mohammed urged them to remain focus on the task ahead and not to relent in doing their best for the execution of developmental projects to improve the socio-economic status of the citizens of the state.

He assured the people of the state that the State Executive Council under his Leadership will remain focus on discussing critical issues that will assist the state to be on the path of growth and development.

"As far as I am concerned, I appreciate what the council members are doing in the actualization of my new Bauchi agenda and I think the people of the state too appreciate what we are doing collectively.

"I always call for a council meeting, because council is not only for awarding contracts, but to discuss policies that are for the benefit of the state.

"We inherited a very bad system and administration that has left everything to decay and so far we have done our best to rescue the state from the situation that was appearing very hopeless", he added.

The governor declared that his administration is determined to provide the needed societal services to the citizens of the state through the execution of legacy projects.
