New Year: Sardaunan- Gombe greets Gombawa, Nigerians

Alhaji Jamil Isyaku Gwamna, the Sardaunan Gombe has congratulated fellow Nigerians and Gombawas on the occasion of the New Year celebration.

In his new year message Signed by his media aide Ibrahim Sani Shawai, Gwamna said Year 2022 presented an opportunity for a fresh start for citizens to evaluate and assess the activities of the previous year with a view to making adjustments that will bring progress and development to Gombe State and Nigeria.

“As citizens, we must have positive mindset about the country and portray our country and state in good light” Gwamna added.

This according to him can be achieved through collective contributions towards finding solutions to the numerous challenges bedeviling the nation and Gombe state by embracing peace and unity.

“In the new year, we must keep faith and be optimistic that the year would bring hope and better outing for the country; this is our fatherland and we must work to defend our unity and ensure that the country is more peaceful and united at the end of 2022”, Gwamna added.

Similarly, being the year that precedes the election year, Gwamna urged youths to make positive contributions to democratic processes towards the development of the Gombe state and Nigeria by embracing peaceful approach to playing politics.

Alhaji Gwamna further urged Gombe citizens and Nigerians to be more prayerful as a way of complementing Government’s efforts at addressing the challenges of insecurity.
