Senator Aishatu Binani Declares For Adamawa Governorship Race

Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed, aka Binani (APC, Adamawa Central) has declared her ambition to contest in the governorship election come 2023.

She declared her intention at the APC Secretariat on Tuesday in Yola, saying if elected, she would work hard to turn around the fortunes of the state.

“In spite of all abundant human and natural resources, our state sadly ranks 25th out of 36 states in human capital development index,” she lamented, assuring that she would work to address that.

In his remarks, the chairman of APC in the state, Alhaji Ibrahim Bilal, said the party would provide a level playing ground for all aspirants.

He said the party is ready to take over leadership of the state come 2023.
