GoHealth Executive Secretary Commended for Purposeful Leadership

The Executive Secretary of the Gombe State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency GoHealth Dr Abubakar Musa has been commended for providing purposeful leadership that laid solid foundation of the Agency.
This is contained in a statement by Joshua Danmalam, Information officer,
Office of the secretary to the state government on Wednesday.

The statement quoted a letter of commendation signed by the Chairman of the Governing Board of the Agency, Dr Mohammed Isa Umar as saying the commendation was mainly in recognition of the Executive Secretary’s astute managerial acumen exhibited since inception a decision reached by the Board at it’s 7th valedictory meeting held on 23th May,2023.

The letter reads in part “I wish to convey the Board’s commendation to you for providing decisive and rceptive leadership that led to a solid foundation, take-off and progress of the young Agency that has become an epicenter of reference in the health insurance network of Nigeria”

It also noted the Executive Secretary’s honesty, commitment, and diligence in the discharge of his assigned duties adding that the enormous successes achieved by the Agency can greatly be attributed to these qualities and indeed his resolute quest for excellence in service delivery.

Presenting the Commendation letter to Dr Abubakar Musa in his office Wednesday, Secretary to the State Government Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi lauded the Governing Board for recognising and appreciating the exceptional contributions of the Executive Secretary.

Professor Njodi noted that the commendation from the Governing Board did not come to him as a surprise as it only vindicates Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya’s quest to engage the best especially the youth to drive development of critical sectors in the state.

The SSG further admonished Dr Abubakar Musa to keep the flag flying even as he continues to impact positively on the advancement of the Agency to enable it deliver on it’s core mandate of helping government achieve Universal Health Coverage of citizens of Gombe State.

He also used the historic ceremony to task other government officials to emulate Dr Abubakar’s examplary leadership qualities revealing that he has been keenly monitoring the operations of the Agency under his Watch growing from strength to strength and Congratulated him on behalf of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, Government and People of Gombe State.

Reacting to the honour and recognition, the Executive Secretary GoHealth Dr Abubakar Musa thanked the board for identifying his efforts through the commendation letter.

He said the commendation from the Governing board will further ginger him do more in the discharge of his duties and appreciated Governor Inuwa Yahaya for the opportunity given him to serve the State in that capacity.
