Gov Inuwa  has participated in the All Progressives Congress House of Representatives direct primaries

Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has participated in the All Progressives Congress House of Representatives direct primaries held at Jekadafari Ward in Gombe Local Government Area, commending the peaceful conduct of the exercise across the state.

Speaking after the election, Governor Inuwa Yahaya expressed satisfaction with the turnout of party members and the orderly conduct of the primaries, praising party officials and the election committee for ensuring a transparent and credible process.

The governor described the APC as one family, declaring that there was “no victor, no vanquished,” and urged party members and aspirants to unite ahead of the general elections.

He emphasized the need for collective commitment toward sustaining the developmental strides of the APC administration in Gombe State, adding that the party would continue working to meet the aspirations of the people.

Governor Inuwa Yahaya also praised party members for peacefully embracing democratic values, describing the conduct displayed during the exercise as a positive sign for the future of the party and the state.

Also speaking, the representative of the APC National Headquarters and Chairman of the National Primary Election Committee for Gombe State, Labiru Musa Kafur, commended the state chapter of the party for strengthening internal democracy under the governor’s leadership.

During the primary in Jekadafari Ward, aspirants for the Gombe/Kwami/Funakaye Federal Constituency seat, Sadam Bello and Zakariyya Jidda, were represented by their agents, while the presiding officer, Yahaya Ibrahim Makeri, declared Sadam Bello winner after a headcount exercise monitored by INEC officials and independent observers.
