Supply improvement: Complement our effort to sustain tempo, KEDCO appeals to customers
The Management of Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) has appealed to its customers to report all forms of activities that could threaten the current improvement in electricity supply being experienced across the Kano franchise.
This was contained in a statement by Ibrahim Sani Shawai, Head of Corporate Communications, KEDCO.
According to the statement, for the past one week there has been constant electricity supply with a minimum of between 14, 18, and 24 hours daily. The company said this improvement needs to be sustained and complemented by customers.
KEDCO urged its customers to report cases of illegal connections, meter bypass, vandalism, and other forms of sabotage, noting that doing so will help the company strengthen supply and improve services, thereby satisfying customers as the year comes to an end.
The company also appealed to customers to always pay their electricity bills as and when due.
The statement reiterated the company’s commitment to improving service delivery, but noted that it cannot achieve this alone without the support and cooperation of its customers.
